I perform services for which I am qualified (physically and emotionally), and able to do.
I refer to appropriate specialists when work is not within my scope of practice and/or not in            the client’s best interest.

I keep accurate records and review charts before each session. I customize my treatment to            meet the client’s needs.

I take pride in staying current with information and techniques by reading, receiving regular        sessions (of the same service I provide), and taking at least one workshop per year.

HYGIENE:

The treatment room, bathroom, and general premises are kept clean and hygienic at all times.

Sheets and other linens are changed for each client and are washed in Tide detergent with hydrogen peroxide or bleach and a vinegar rinse to insure cleanliness.

Equipment and supplies are clean and have high quality ingredients. Thieves or OnGuard and other anti-bacterial essential oils are added to massage oils for each client. Antibacterial soap, hydrogen peroxide, and Pure Green 24 containing citric acid and a silver solution which kills 100% of germs are used as cleaners.

An essential oil diffuser dispenses Thieves or On Guard anti-bacterial anti-MRSA oils throughout the room in-between clients and intermittently during massage sessions.

Oils, lotions, and gels are used on one client only and clean utensils are used to remove amounts used for a particular session from the container.

The massage therapist washes hands and arms before and after each session with anti-bacterial soap and uses Thieves anti-bacterial essential oil sanitizer.

This office is a non-smoking, odor-neutral environment.

Clients should be clean, having showered the same day as the treatment.

Clients should not eat a heavy meal less than two hours prior to the treatment.
